The Montgomery Monarchs Chapter of the National Charity League brings mothers and daughters together for community service, leadership development and cultural experiences in historic Montgomery, the birthplace of the Texas flag. Founded in 1999 and chartered by NCL in 2001, our chapter has grown to nearly 200 mothers and daughters. We enjoy small-town life amid bluebonnet-covered prairies and the pine-forested shores of Lake Conroe not far from the urban delights of Houston, and our daughters attend junior and senior high schools in Montgomery, Conroe and Willis. We are proud to support a variety of area organizations, including hospitals, libraries and senior centers. Our mother-daughter teams have
dedicated more than 20,000 volunteer hours to meeting needs in our community.
